  • TogetherYour whole community rounds up for the same cause.

Questions

What am I committing to right now?

Nothing. You are saying you will be part of this if the rest of the team is. No card, no bank, no payment, and nothing to cancel if you change your mind before it fills.

What happens when the team is full?

You get one email with a link. You connect a card, and from then on your purchases round up to the next dollar. It takes a few minutes, once.

What does it cost me?

Your spare change. A $4.37 coffee becomes $5.00 and 63 cents goes to tzedakah. On average that is about 50 cents a day. It follows your own spending.

When is my card actually charged?

Each time your round-ups reach $10. That can be twice in a month, or not at all in a quiet month. Under $10 the change stays in your own bank account and carries forward.

Can you see my bank login?

No. The connection runs through Plaid and is read-only. It is used to work out round-ups and nothing else. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers.

Can I stop?

Any time, from your own dashboard. Pause stops the charges, and unlinking the bank stops everything. No phone call and nobody to ask.

Who actually gets the money?

The tzedakah, directly. The charity charges your card from its own account into its own bank, so your statement shows them. RealChange decides the amount and never holds a cent of it.
